This three hour durational performance in which I interacted intuitively with my surroundings and my garment was conducted in 30 degree fahrenheit conditions. The garment in question is a crocheted, nylon skirt with four hollow tendrils that held a bible, a stone, a bundle of sticks, and plain air. My baby blanket along with being bound by sailing rope is what kept me warm.

The Emerald Ash Borer, Bad Romance

Under the instruction of Emilio Rojas, my class at Bard College was given the prompt to use two logs of ash wood affected by an invasive species of beetle, the Emerald Ash Borer, to create a thirty minute durational performance with a partner. This performance coincided with the first time that my heart was ever broken by a lover. The other individual whom I performed with was said lover.
